random happiness / i don't like bryan wong
I like my mundane television life.
Thus far, I have watched Martha Stewart manhandle a rabbit (oooh and cooking a phallic vegetable), Bryan Wong pseudo-acting in a mega production, Victor Tang the contestant on Live A Dream absolutely butcher the song Mandy, David whatshisname the celebrity chef presenting his truly unconvincing romantic life and I have, worryingly, gotten myself updated on the Taiwanese pop scene (!).
Oh, and I could be here, making internet history, committing verbal diarrhoea under the pretense of connecting with my friends. I could be staring at pictures of my internet crush, watching clips of my celebrity crush Lin Zhi Xuan (I know, I know, SHAME) singing like a rockstar. But I enjoy sprawling on the floor, integrating while Bryan Wong commits bestiality/insectiality (?) with a freaking butterfly.
Mundane is good. No helicopters, no sprinkle of fairy dust, no polar bears to slay, especially not that. Mundane breeds content; and later, when you've lost something, I suppose it's the mundane memories that will make you cry.
Terry Pratchett says: mundane breeds evil too. So be careful, all of you who watch obscure art films instead of soap operas. Ho.
No strange taiwanese/japanese/korean dramas again. The only ones good enough are the ones with Hodgins in it. Now, now, now I am really happy. Productivity does that to me, yeah. No petty calculations anymore, no random emo-ness, no loneliness, because loneliness is a state of mind.
After the exams, I shall fundraise and knit and read and watch a play (I'm serious this time) and laugh and cry a lot, hopefully. Huge love to everyone! And world peace, please!
